Unclaimed Customer Checks

We may have your money!

Have you ever moved without getting your NJNG deposit back? We can help. In an effort to make it easier to find and recover the money you are rightfully owed, we are providing online access to our database of unclaimed deposits.

A check becomes unclaimed after it is issued by New Jersey Natural Gas but never cashed.  In many cases, the post office returns a check to us because there is no forwarding address on file. After a period of time, an uncashed check must be reported and remitted to the state.

We will continually update this database, so feel free to check back often. Please note that you may be listed by first, last, company or organization name. If you see your name in this list, please e-mail us at customerservice@njng.com or call 1-800-221-0051.
